Testimonials

The insights and experiences of the families and individuals who reside in Legacy Lakes help shape its unique personality. We'd like to share some thoughts about the joys of living in our special community through the words
of those who’ve made it their home.
The Brady Family
While I was deployed, my wife and I were looking online for a place to build a new home we would move into in '10. We initially focused on the northern part of Fayetteville and Harnett County. After months of frustration, we decided to look west of the Fayetteville area. We talked to friends that live in Moore County and they encouraged us to check it out. I came across Legacy Lakes on the web. We were impressed by their website, so I emailed Jennifer Dwiggins, who is the Managing Sales Consultant for Legacy Lakes, to find out more information. She responded immediately and was always quick to answer my many questions, even though I was thousands of miles away. My wife went to visit the property and was very impressed. She even videotaped it and mailed it to me in Iraq so I could see the area. We loved the amenities, the quality craftsmanship of the builders and excellent schools, shopping and restaurants nearby. Since the route to post is less congested, total driving time is less than if we lived in Fayetteville and had to contend with rush hour traffic. We can't wait to move back to Ft. Bragg and become home owners in Legacy Lakes!
The Morrones
The first official residents of Legacy Lakes, Mary Anne Morrone and her husband, Sam, anxiously anticipated their move from Paris, Texas into the community and are now happily settled in their new home. “It was definitely worth the wait,” says Mrs. Morrone. “The entire community is being built to such high standards. It’s really lovely.” The Morrone Family is particularly pleased with the community’s 8,000 sq ft. clubhouse called The Plantation House. “It’s going to be such a nice place to gather and meet friends,” says Mrs. Morrone, thinking ahead to all of the new neighbors that will be moving in. “The weather and climate is beautiful,” Mrs. Morrone attests, “especially compared to Texas. I think this is going to be one of the nicest communities in Moore County. They have done an absolutely first class job.”
